Priory Rooms’ Director Wendy Burnett, also a member of Central England Quakers (CEQ) sends Christmas Greetings and wishes for a Peaceful New Year to The Priory Rooms customers, staff and associates on behalf of the Board.

“It has been an exciting and busy 2014 for The Priory Rooms and we have welcomed existing and new clients over the year.

Christmas1.jpgTen years on from the establishment of The Priory Rooms a programme of refurbishment has included new carpets, the ground floor ladies toilets remodelled and the wonderful new AV equipment in the Main Meeting House.

We have continued our commitment to environmental improvements with the addition of food recycling and increasing the capacity of the rainwater harvesting system.

A new internet network is in the process of being installed.

Further work to enhance the experience of our clients in the new year.

The Priory Rooms were able to gift £38,000 to CEQ at the beginning of 2014, for the various projects that were undertaken this year by their charities West Midlands Peacemakers, Northfield Eco-centre and Hope Project Uganda.

This year there has been the addition of the Peace Hub to CEQ projects, in the building next door to The Priory Rooms. Please do drop in and meet the project co-ordinator Peter Doubtfire to learn more about the Hubs 2015 projects supporting peace campaigns nationally and internationally.

I would like to thank all of The Priory Rooms’ customers for choosing our venue for your meeting and conferences. We have had some lovely feedback on your experience! Finally on behalf of the Priory Rooms directors, we thank Andrew Callan The Priory Rooms Manager, and all of the staff for their hard work and dedication over the past 12 months. The excellent service provided to customers could not happen without them!

We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and Peaceful New Year and look forward to seeing you again in 2015.
