This September The Priory Rooms took part in the Worlds BIGGEST Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and raised an exceptional amount of money for the charity!

The Priory Rooms were thrilled by the high turnout for the Macmillan Coffee Morning they hosted on Wednesday 24th September with a grand total of £108 being fundraised!

Guests and conference room delegates relaxed in our bright Atrium whilst enjoying fair trade tea and freshly filtered coffee with delicious home-made cakes; Victoria sponge, date and oat meal bars, fruit cake, carrot cake and chocolate brownies. Many of the cakes were donated by The Priory Rooms’ long-standing caterers Just Good Food, who played a vital role in the events success. Just Good Food was delighted to help with the cause and delegates praised the variety and taste of cakes offered throughout the week. All who attended the coffee morning donated generously to the charity, as did the many conference room users and The Priory Rooms staff.

Macmillan Cancer Support provides medical, emotional, practical and financial support and push for a better cancer care system. Each coffee morning held across the country this year will have raised life-saving funds for Macmillan’s on-going hard work.
