Macmillan Coffee Morning – 20th September
We start our newsletter by welcoming you to join us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Taking place on Wednesday 20th September from 09:00 – 15:00 in our Atrium.
To help families affected by cancer, we’ll be offering homemade cakes followed by speciality teas and a variety of coffees.
The first Macmillan Coffee Morning happened way back in 1990. It was a rather small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, they did it again the next year – only this time nationally. Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £290 million for Macmillan.
This year Macmillan hope to raise even more and you can help just buy coming along for coffee, cake and a chat and making a small donation.
